Every day it seems I walk a step backward?
Everytime I feel my life is heading for a better situation, something changes it.
for example:
I have many college credits but no degree.
I am currently online for an AAS degree
I started online classes in 2000 for an AAS for a different topic and took so long they canceled my account. I do have the credits though.
I quit college the first time cause I got married and had a baby, I had such a rough marriage, school was not an option.
No my school counselor says I may have enough credits to get an AAS degree in general business, I thought she said a bachelor's and I was flying high, now its just AAS.
I have been working for a company for 20 years and my coworker (who is on a slightly higher scale) was transferred to another department. I was given her duties, this means in a year or two, I would be up for her title, then one of my other coworkers was given one of my duties (seems he had some previous experience so they gave it to him) now I have to put up with him
I think you are looking at it the wrong way.
You have many college credits.
You are on line for a degree.
You have a child.
I take it that the marriage is over? So you have moved on from a bad situation.
You have a stable employment record.
You are in line for a promotion.
It all stacks up to be not so bad, look at what you have, not what you have missed out on.
Look at this guy taking part of your job as making your life better, not as a setback.
AAS End of the Year
