The Executive Hotel in Mendoza Takes you to the Bottom of the Ocean
Mendoza is celebrated for its moderate and pleasant climate. It's no curiosity why it is known as the land of the sun and the fine wine. Mendoza fine wines never fail, but if the sun resolves to hide, the city offers a number of amusing rides to supercede outdoor expeditions. The palette of cultural activities and expeditions is as extended as appealing, so that no one gets bored. Plainly enquire the front desk staff office of the Executive Hotel in Mendoza and they will readily provide advice on the best places to see.
Located in the Parque O'Higgins, close to downtown and immediate from most points of the city, the Municipal Aquarium is ideal for a stroll with the youngsters. Launched in 1945, it was the first marine museum in the country. It was planned on the basis of the celebrated marine museum in Hamburg, Germany. By then, there were shown only freshwater fish donated by their first director, Mary Simonov. Sea fish came to the aquarium in 1963, and subsequently appeared the permanent presentation of shells (sector Malacology).
The Municipal Aquarium now homes 36 families of cold-water fish, tropical freshwater, invertebrates, amphibians and reptiles. However the unchallenged star of the aquarium is the marine turtle Jorge, who raised a torrid disputation on arrival at the aquarium in 1984. Environmental radicals and environmentalists called for at that time to release him, but stayed forever and today it has a tank of 10000 liters of sea water to himself. The entrance to the Aquarium is very economical, with discounts for kids and students. Their extended hours (open every day from 9 to 19:30 pm) make it an essential tour on holiday in Mendoza. Annually it is seen by more than 50000 people.
Originally, the Municipal Aquarium was planned as a study center for future biologists. The ultimate goal was to campaign for the increase of the fishing industry in the province, exploring the possibleness for replication and adjustment of various species of fish fauna. Nowadays, the original purpose is almost overlooked, but it continues as one of the highlights of tourism in Mendoza capital.
The Municipal Aquarium is at a walking distance of the Executive Hotel in Mendoza, thence establishing a great choice for a quiet tour with the children, or for lovers of natural life. Let's remember that in the prehistory, the Andean String was submerged in the bottom of the sea, a fact discovered by Darwin while he visited the country in 1835, though when imagined it seems an fabulous idea the sight of these mountains under the sea.

If you love a great 'who done it,' then Mary Higgins Clark’s Let Me Call You Sweetheart is truly a must read. Clark takes you on a suspenseful journey into obsession, hate, infidelity, and MURDER......
Assistant Prosecutor, Kerry McGrath waits anxiously in the waiting area of the office of world known plastic surgeon, Dr. Charles Smith as her daughter Robin, who was in a automobile accident has stitches removed from her face. Kerry sits gazing at the door that leads to the examining room, when suddenly the door opens and out comes a beautiful young lady who appears to be in her mid twenties. Suddenly, she gets the strangest feeling that she knew this woman from some place, but just could not quite figure out where.
Two weeks later Kerry returns to Dr. Smith’s office for her daughter’s follow up checkup, again while waiting to be summons to the examining room, out through the door emerges a young woman who looked just like the woman she had seen at the office during her last visit, but it wasn't the same woman. Kerry begins to wonder were the two woman related, if they were both patients of Dr. Smith and why was he trying to make these woman look alike.
Kerry begins to have dreams of a young woman on the floor with a cord around her neck and sweetheart roses scattered over her body, she tries to scream in her dream, but all that is released is a moan. Awaken by her daughter from her terrible dream, she begins to wonder what was causing these dreams. Suddenly it comes to her, that the two woman she had previously seen at Dr. Smith's office both were a look alike for the murder victim in the Sweetheart Case, Suzanne Reardon.
It had been eleven years since Suzanne's murder and the day that Kerry started working at the Prosecutor's Office is the day that the jury found her husband, Jake Reardon guilty of her murder. But the question that is unanswered now is why does two of Dr. Smith's patients have the face of a murdered woman?
Kerry becomes curious about the sweetheart murder and starts asking questions and digging up any and all information that she could concerning the Sweetheart Murder Case. But quickly it becomes apparent that no one wants her looking into this case or even thinking about reopening it, not her boss, Frank Green, her ex-husband, Robert Kinellen, his lawbreaker client, Jimmy Weeks, her long time friend, Senator Jonathan Hoover and defiantly not plastic surgeon, Dr. Charles Smith.
With the help of Joe Palumbo the Prosecutor's Investigator and Geoff Dorso, the Appeal Attorney for Jake Reardon, Kerry begins obtain evidence that leads towards Jake Reardon's innocents. As Kerry continues to dig further into the case and new evidence begins to surface it becomes clear that someone other then Jake Reardon had cause to kill Suzanne and they did not want her snooping around in this closed case nor did they want it reopened and they were willing to do anything necessary to keep it that way.
Let Me Call You Sweetheart was a novel full of suspense and wonder, the kind that keeps you right on the edge of your seat until the very last page is turned. If you love a good suspense thrillers then this is the one for you.
